  • Primo Teak Stain & Sealer provides a flexible, breathable Stain & Finish in one!!  If used regularly this product will replenish the depleted natural oils in the wood and return the warm glow to your furniture. Excellent on Ipe, Balu, Cedar and Redwood.







    Preparation


    Wood Preparation: Lightly sand new wood with fine to medium sandpaper prier to sealing to ensure Primo wood stain will stick properly. Wipe clean with a damp rag to remove dust. If wood has be previously painted, Paint must be remove to bare wood.  If  wood has been  previously stained, make sure the Wood Stain will penetrate wood before using. Test area by dipping water on the surface of wood. If  water penetrates,  so will the stain. If water beads you may have to sand the surface first. Surface should be clean, dull and dry before staining.

    If the wood has been sealed or is discolored it  can be remove with a chemical striper or simply sanding the wood.  Once the wood has been cleaned you can apply Pacific Sealers wood stain to the wood.

    Maintenance only requires a light sanding and re-application annually


    When working with wicker


    Lightly sand Wicker with a very fine sandpaper to remove any glossy or peeling from old finish.  Remove dust with a tack cloth prior to staining . Wicker should be clean, dull and dry before staining.
